“A singing quality: Fritz Kreisler

Fritz Kreisler (violin), Hugo Kreisler (cello) and Michael Raucheisen (piano) performing Fritz’ arrangement of the Intermezzo No. 6 from Bizet’s Arlesienne Suite No.2. for HMV in 1927.

This is such a beautiful example of a “singing quality” in every way on the violin. The legato and beauty is really something. Very few instrumentalists much less singers today have this very rare gift.
