Norma wins the poll.

I just love this clip from one of Grace Moore’s wonderful films, “A Lady’s Morals” with this VERY extended scene of Norma’s first entrance and the recitativo and famous aria, “Casta Diva”. Such fun, where would any film today have this kind of time devoted to the arts, especially Opera?

My poll, seen in another entry below, was won quite handily by “Norma”, with “Manon Lescaut” in #2 spot and Butterfly the #3 spot. In so short a time over 400 people voted. Cyber space. How tantalizing!
