Loved calling every February 1st. The gorgeous, very musical voice, always full of harmonics and beauty, her laughter and her genuine heart. In today’s bland world of opera where people just want to be ordinary folks and sound it, here was an extraordinary person, voice of incomparable beauty and power and mythic in every way.
